In the fields "mountain goat" is the Stone Age megalithic grave Penne Witt. This grave complex was investigated in 1908 by Prof. Dr. R. Beltz scientifically. In his "Record of the passage grave of Penne Witt" he describes its state as follows: "... The grave at the beginning of the work was still overgrown. The work has been to expose it and to examine the inside of the stones, but without changing in their location. It is an excellent example of large stone-age grave. The wall stones are moved to the part and the capstones have sunk, one blown up, the passage is still quite clear ... The floor of the corridor was still intact; remarkable that in the middle it was deeper than at the side walls, in which the grouted joints between the cap and wall stones were filled with clay..."< br>A. Hollnagel, after a visit in 1971, gave the size of the grave with 8m x 2m. It is a large passage grave with 6 Jochen and entrance on the south side. Those graves were used for a whole kin. Built without entry passage tunnel, there was an opening for later burials. There are really huge stones, and sometimes gather in neighborhood to other dolmen. Originally, those graves were covered with soil.
