At the border of the forest, south of the "Düvelskuhlen" lies a prehistoric grave, that differs from the bulk of the Emsland type. The passage is oriented Southwest-Northeast and is quite small. On the 9 digged carrier stones lie 3 of originally 4 capstones. The chamber measures 6m x 2m inside, the outside is but as typical 19m x 5.5m. The outer ring has still 20 stones.
Those graves were used for a whole kin. Some walls have more than 100 m in length and contain two or more stone chambers. They were in use for long periods. The walls were bordered with "smaller" erratic blocks, that now are often missing.
