Passage grave Teufelssteine Bischofsbrück

Devil's stone - Teufelssteine is the name of this prehistoric grave built by farmers of the Trichterbecher culture. The chamber is completely preserved. Orientation is East-West. The chambers inner size is 6m x 1.5m and consists of 8 wall stones and 3 capstones. The runes were envgraved the last century. The grave had a stone oval of 40m x 6m outline dimension.

Those graves were used for a whole kin. Some walls have more than 100 m in length and contain two or more stone chambers. They were in use for long periods. The walls were bordered with "smaller" erratic blocks, that now are often missing.
